About the wine
The family has been growing wine since the beginning of the 19th century. Today, the 26-hectare winery in Carnuntum (Lower Austria) is managed by Franz and Christian Netzl. Very early on, the family, which is still keen to experiment today, recognized the great potential for red wine in the region and thus made a significant contribution to the red wine boom in Austria. The friendly family usually keeps a bit in the background, but the wines stand alone and are happy to be in the top places!

Tasting note
Youthful charm and black humor. Cheeky, dark fruit, cherry, plum, currants, dark, deep, spicy. On the palate with charmingly angry, playful, with bite, acidity and spice. Even slightly chilled in summer, it's a great pleasure.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team is recommended with Wiener schnitzel, roast onion and beef tartare.
Vinification
Read and select by hand. Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks, malolactic fermentation and 5 months aging in large oak barrels.
