Tasting note
Intense red color. Very aromatic on the nose with notes of red, ripe fruit, licorice and noble roasted notes due to the fine quality of the barrels. The aftertaste is very structured, strong, aromatic and at the same time very sweet. This wine perfectly reflects the Yecla area and the Monastrell grape.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with all red meats, cheeses and chocolates. The best treat at a temperature of between 16 and 18°C is also open the bottle one hour before consumption.
Vinification
The wine is made from Monastrell grapes, which come from a 100-year-old vineyard. The grapes are picked by hand and weigh 10 kg. Boxes harvested. After arrival at the winery, the grapes are separated on a sorting table and the grapes are destemmed. So that the controlled fermentation process can then begin. After fermentation, the grapes are crushed and placed in French oak barrels, in which they remain for 20 months.
