About the wine
Swiss-born winemaker and owner Markus Niggli founded Markus Wine Co., in 2014. The vineyard is located at Lodi's first boutique winery Borra Vineyards and 5 miles east of Victor, California.

Tasting note
Intense aromas of black cherries, roses and spices. Velvety well-integrated tannins. Long, intense aftertaste. An homage to Paul Keller — our long-time employee.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with game, smoked meats, barbecues.
Vinification
Harvested by hand and fermented naturally. 30% of the grapes are then aged for 18 months in French barriques, which were filled once.
