Tasting note
Color: Brilliant ruby red with iridescent reflections. Aroma: compote-like, cooked cassis, ripe black cherries, plums, spicy nose with typical pepper notes, cloves, earthy touch of graphite and wet stones. Body: Velvety, soft start, medium-strong, elegant body, fine notes on the palate, delicate vegetal-earthy touch on the finish. Quality: Very typical of the variety in aroma and structure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with wild boar cutlets with mustard-honey crust, BBQ, venison, guinea fowl, hollow back steak, hard cheese.
