About the wine
The winery is managed by the Zahel family for 4 generations. After a short career as a racing driver, Richard Zahel joined the family business in 1989. Together with his nephew, Alexander Zahel, who takes care of the sales, they manage the winery with great success. 25 hectares of vines are cultivated within the city limits in all wine-growing zones of Vienna.
