The Arran Port Finish is a refined single malt whiskey from the Isle of Arran, which was refined in port wine barrels after main aging in oak barrels. This special refinement gives the whiskey a deep fruitiness and a balanced sweetness, which makes it an intense and complex taste experience.

Tasting note
Nice and deep bronze color. On the nose, vanilla, dried fruit, ripe citrus fruits and nuts. Intensely fruity on the palate, with aromas of plums, apples and raisins. A long-lasting finish with sweet malt aromas.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with rich desserts such as chocolate cake or fruit cake. It also goes well with aged cheeses such as blue cheese or strong cheddar. Enjoy it pure to fully reveal its intense aromas, or with a drop of water to bring out the fruity notes even more.
Vinification
Ageing in port wine barrels gives the whiskey its intense fruit aromas and the characteristic, deep red color. The combination of Arran whiskey with the sweet and rich notes of port wine creates an exceptional balance between fruit, spice and wood.
