Tasting note
The Weissburgunder grapes come from locations in Spitzerberg, which belongs to the eponymous municipality of Prellenkirchen. Aged partly in steel tanks, partly in oak barrels. Charming nose with aromas of juicy pear, white peach, apple tart and orange zest, framed with notes of yellow flowers, some spring honey and subtle minerals. Juicy, elegant on the palate, with good freshness and lots of finesse.
Culinary recommendation
A wonderful accompaniment to white asparagus, fish dishes such as Zuger whitefish, fried trout or crayfish. But also great with vegetables in beer batter or baked chicken.
