Tasting note
The vibrant, pale yellow color of Camus VSOP reveals a delightful presence of floral and fruity aromas with grapefruit and almond notes. The harmony of fresh fruit with soft wood is excellently expressed on the palate. A touch of spice and vanilla crowns the finish with their finesse.
Vinification
Delicate oak finish Elegance is the characteristic feature that Camus gives its cognacs. Camus VSOP owes its fantastic aromatic character to a combination of wines, some of which are distilled with their cloudy substances. This technique requires a high level of expertise and results in a remarkable aromatic intensity. The eaux-de-vie then mature in old oak barrels, some of which have already released their tannins. By carefully heating the barrels, the fruit and floral aromas can fully develop.
