About the wine
The calcareous, gravelly soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Pinot Noir. The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Louis Latour knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. There is always something left over from Christmas dinner. Do you know that? Tasting note
Intense dark color in the glass. The scent of blackcurrants and blackberries flows into our nose. On the palate, toasted notes are accompanied by a touch of licorice. A strong, dense wine with a nice aftertaste.

Goes well with beef, poultry, spicy dishes, game
Vinification
Hand harvest. Fermentation traditionally in large, open wooden barrels. The wine is then aged for ten to twelve months in oak barrels specially made by the Louis Latour coopers (40% new wood).
