Tasting note
Volta di Bertinga is pure Merlot. It shows aromas of violets, blueberries and a touch of minerality and black truffles and black olives. Full-bodied, straight-lined and racy. Terrific single vineyard wine. The renowned wine guide “Gambero Rosso” describes Volta di Bertinga as “best Italian Merlot of the year”.

Vinification
Fermented in a stainless steel vat, aged for 18 months in French barriques. 30% new wood.
