About the wine
The calcareous, slanted soils in Burgundy form the breeding ground for this Pinot Noir. The winemaker from the French winery Remoissenet Père & fils knows how to use them and delights us with this red wine. Tasting note
The Volnay Robardelles bouquet of mushrooms and caramel sweets shows a complex aroma character and a lot of finesse. The dominant shades of raspberry, cherry and vanilla create their individual texture. Medium-bodied body and dominant acidity result in the fruity red wine, which, pleasantly with fine tannins in the mouth, shows plenty of character and class.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Volnay Robardelles goes well with cheese, duck and salmon. Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at slightly chilled 16°-18°C.
