About the wine
The Volnay AOC Champy 2022 offers a fresh and elegant profile, with a smooth texture and balanced structure. Crafted from organic Pinot Noir grapes grown in carefully tended vineyards, it highlights pure fruit and approachable finesse. Perfect for relaxed evenings or sharing over good food.
Tasting note
Aromatic intensity on the nose, with notes of red and black berries, violets and sweet spices. The start is fresh, the palate is full-bodied and round with a velvety finish.
Culinary recommendation
Poultry, veal, veal, chicken, quail, soft mild cheeses
Vinification
Cold maceration. Fermentation with natural yeasts and storage in barrels for 3 weeks. Subsequent aging in 13 different wooden barrels, 30% of which are new, for a period of 14 months.
