About the wine
Clos des Chênes is the largest premier cru in Volnay and is located between Taille Pieds' premier cru and the Monthelie border. The soil of the Clos des Chênes contains a high proportion of limestone and gives the wine scent and finesse with a particularly generous fruitiness.
