Tasting note
On the nose, intense aromas of black cherries, plums, black currants and elderberries develop, accompanied by subtle roasted notes, dark chocolate and mild spices. On the palate, the wine is powerful and balanced, with ripe tannins, lively freshness and a long, profound finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with grilled red meat, stews, lamb or game. It is also an excellent choice for elegant dishes such as braised beef or rabbit ragout.
Vinification
Aging for 11 months in French barriques (20% new, 80% second covered) and partly in ovoid polymer tanks to preserve freshness and elegance.
