Tasting note
The Nice “Viti Vecchie” is definitely Gianni Doglia's top Barbera, it comes from one of the most renowned locations for Barbera: Bricco di Nizza in the municipality of Nizza Monferrato. The relatively recent Nice DOCG appellation — a Grand Cru from Barbera d'Asti — was officially launched in 2014. A Nice must always be pure.

Vinification
100% Barbera from over 50 years old vines; maceration 15 days in steel tanks, aging 20 months in barriques (30% new ones); production only 5000 bottles.
