About the wine
This discreet Viognier 2017 — Vistamare Toscana IGT is a triumph to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Fertile and blooming landscapes of Tuscany give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Ca'Marcanda conjures up this white wine with refinement and experience. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This viognier can be served very well with potatoes or fondue.

Tasting note
The fine blend of Vermentino and Viognier is reminiscent of the rich scents from Bolgheri. On the nose, it has an appealing scent of ripe fruit, floral aromas and a touch of sweet honey. Full-bodied and expressive on the palate, it combines floral and fruity flavors with the complexity and minerality of barrique aging.
Culinary recommendation

Vinification
Separate fermentation of the two grape varieties in steel tanks for 4 weeks. The Vistamare then matures for 6 months in used and new barriques.
