Ink-dark purple to black. On the nose, with exotic hints of violets and intense dark berries. On the palate, racy, elegant with strong, soft tannins and dense, lusciously concentrated grape aromas.

Eye: deep dark violet, almost black, with a narrow purple edge; Aroma: explosive, powerful aromas of wild berries, strained blackberries and black currants, subtly underlaid with notes of cherries and mocha; Palate: concentrated yet very fine fruit, unmistakable violet scent, delicate hints of roses and light minty wild herb aromas; finish: perfect, well-integrated tannins, muscular, gripping finale
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with blue cheese or just because.
Vinification
Ageing for 18 months in oak barrels, followed by bottle maturation.
