About the wine
For four generations, since 1900, the Massucco family has been active in viticulture and has incorporated over 100 years of knowledge into the production of high-quality wines. In the Langhe and Roero vineyards in Piedmont, the vines grown in the Guyot system are cultivated on 40 ha, of which 20 ha are owned by the family. 60% of them are red wines, 40% white wines. The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand. Massucco's wines are among the best Italian wines in terms of quality and price/performance.
Tasting note
Ruby red color, delicate bouquet, a refreshing red wine with a well-balanced body, lush aromas from a combination of fresh and ripe fruits.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled meat, pasta dishes with tomato sauce or a hearty risotto. It also goes well with mild cheeses.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested and fermented by hand to preserve freshness and fruitiness. The wine is aged in stainless steel tanks.
