About the wine
Antinori is the most well-known wine producer in Italy. Not only because the noble family has been making wine for 26 generations, but also because they repeatedly help forgotten varieties achieve new fame. This was also the case with Nobile di Montepulciano in the 90s.

Tasting note
A lovely classic Montepulciano. The aroma is very typical and almost amazingly intense with a strong liquorice note. A bit more subtle, there are also notes of violets, hard coal and dried fruits. Nice, soft and seductive fullness, solid body with good, slightly sandy tannins and refreshing acidity. Sounds like red cherries and licorice again. An excellent food companion!
