About the wine
With the snappy Sangiovese 2012 — Vino Nobile di Montepulciano DOCG, you can offer your guests something very special. Blooming and fertile Tuscan landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Caterina Dei conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Sangiovese is excellent with pizza or beef.

Tasting note
The Vino Nobile has a bright ruby red color, smells intensely of ripe cherries and plums, the taste is dry, balanced and the tannins are fine-grained.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta dishes with meat sauce, roasts and bistecca alla fiorentina.
Vinification
Gentle pressing, fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26-28°C, maceration time: 15-20 days. Aging for at least 18 months in 50 hl Slavonian oak barrels and aged in bottles for 6 months.
