About the wine
The NOBILE Le Caggiole is undoubtedly one of the very best Vino Nobile and, in addition to the Asinone from Poliziano, its second figurehead for the region.
Tasting note
Very elegant and long-lasting Vino Nobile made from 100% Sangiovese. Combines fruity, spicy and floral notes to create an appealing and complex whole. On the palate with lots of grip, present but polished tannins and a very long finish.
Culinary recommendation
With Bisteccha Fiorentina, with pasta with strong sugo, with roasts and stews
Vinification
Single-layer wine from the Caggiole vineyard only 6500 bottles in good vintages. Aged for 16 to 18 months in French tonneaux.
