Vino Macharnudo Alto VDT Tierra de Cadiz 2019 - Valdespino S.A.

Pale straw yellow with golden hues. On the nose, lime chutney and subtle fruit aromas, round, dry and full-bodied on the finish. Grown on Albariza, a soil of white chalk that crusts on the surface in summer and protects the water deeper down from evaporation. Palomino is the autochthonous variety from which Sanlucar Xerez is pressed. Pale straw yellow color with light golden hues. It has delicate (citrus) lime chutney and white fruit aromas with a complex mineral background. The palate has a delicate, round, buttery touch and a dry, crunchy aftertaste. It shows the character of the Macharnudo terroir at its best. It was fermented in sherry barrels and then aged for 6 months in American oak on its own yeast. The first work was only intended for the University of Cadiz, it was so well received that it will now continue to be produced.
