Vinha Centenária Referência P28/P21 Douro DOC 2021 - Quinta Nova

Plot 28, planted with Tinta Roriz, consists of 2,650 vines with a slope of 25% and a height of between 205 and 210 meters. Tinta Roriz clearly shows the challenge of wine and human persistence in preserving an ancient and authentic Douro. The severity of the grape variety is noticeable on the palate, but at the same time a contemporary refinement seduces, which, in conjunction with a century-old vineyard, creates a “referência” (reference) in the Portuguese Douro; a wine full of minerality, blue berries, rich in spicy notes, with a firm structure and a very tight mouth. The high concentration, density and depth perfectly expresses its origin.
