Tasting note
The flagship of Vinattieri. Vinattieri Rosso has the complexity and complexity that you would expect from a wine in this quality class. On the nose, scented tones of sweet plums and blackcurrant jelly, but also of dark berries and cinnamon. The palate is powerful and full. Long and impressive on the finish. From ten years of maturity, tertiary aromas of undergrowth, leather and mushrooms develop and the tannins develop a slight sweetness and are reminiscent of aged Pomerol.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roasts, stews, game, cheese, fine pieces of meat.
Vinification
Classic fermentation in 10,000 liter wooden barrels. Some of the grapes are dried, followed by aging in new barriques for at least 22 months. Another year in bottle before marketing.
