Tasting note
In addition to his Bodega del Jaro in Ribera del Duero and two other wineries in Toro and Priory, Borja Osborne Osborne also cultivates a vineyard in Rueda, the home of Verdejo. The more than 40-year-old vines grow near the Duero River on stony alluvial soils. On these barren soils, the old vines produce a flavorful, fresh and spicy white wine with notes of tropical fruits and green apples. Borja names his wine after the songbird Oropendola (known as Orirol here).

Goes well with an aperitif, fresh goat cheese, salad, asparagus, vegetarian dishes of all kinds.
