Tasting note
In the glass, the Gran Reserva shows a bright ruby red with a garnet hem. Aromas of tobacco, leather, ripe plum and dried red fruits are accompanied by fine vanilla and caramel notes. Intense, fresh and silky on the palate, with a powerful, harmonious structure. The long finale flashes every nuance once again — a masterpiece full of personality.
Culinary recommendation
Highly recommended with all types of meat, stews, spiced fish, and dark chocolate. Also perfect as a wine for cozy fires or meditation.
Vinification
A perfect growing season allowed the grapes to ripen harmoniously. Harvested by hand and carefully checked several times, they arrived fresh at the winery. After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine matured in American oak barrels from our own cooperatives, gently stabbed six times before being bottled in July 2020. He then rested in the cellar for another 4.5 years until he reached full expressiveness.
