Tasting note
Late-harvested grapes of the Trebbiano and Malvasia varieties are dried on mats protected from rain and wind for three to four months, so that the volume is reduced to a third and the grape juice obtained flows as thick as honey and is just as sweet. The young wine then ferments and matures for about 4 years in small chestnut barrels and develops a wonderful aroma complexity combined with a seductive sweetness.
