Tasting note
A golden dessert wine with a very typical muscat bouquet. The wine shows aromas of pineapple, citrus, apricots, a touch of honey and subtle floral notes. The palate is luscious with a perfect balance between sweetness and fresh acidity.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with desserts or with fine handmade cheeses.
Vinification
Wet, cool conditions allowed for slower maturation. The grapes were destemmed, crushed and the additional raisins and berries were pulled from the stalks by hand and added to the tank. Fermentation took place on the skin for 24 hours. The fermenting must went through a slow 3-hour pressing process and the cloudy juice continued fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
