Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the picturesque and fertile Trentino countryside. Tasting note
Intense ruby red. The nose features notes of cedarwood, leather, dark stone fruit and subtle roasted and animalistic tones. Dense on the palate, with supple tannins. Mouth-filling and wonderfully structured. With aromas of dark fruit, leather, some smoke and fine wood nuances. Very long aftertaste, with good complexity and elegance.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with wild fowl or braised beef.
Vinification
The Merlot grapes (average age of the vines: ten to 20 years) are harvested by hand and carefully selected. Mash fermentation is followed by aging for twelve to 14 months in French barriques and a further twelve months in bottle.
