About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Pasqua is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and flourishing countryside of Veneto. With the dominant Corvina 2014 — Villa Borghetti Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOC, nuances and accents are redefined. Tasting note
On the nose, intense aromas of red fruits, blackberries and cherries, followed by toasty notes of chocolate and sweet vanilla. Balanced on the palate, with soft tannins and a taste of dried fruit.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, game, grilled meats, stews and aged cheese.
Vinification
18 months in barriques (70%) and 900 liter oak barrels (30%), then 6 months in bottle.
