Tasting note
The Vigorello shows its dense, garnet-speckled ruby red in the glass. The scent is rich blackcurrant, sweet spices and sharp undergrowth. Warm and rich in the mouth, with expressive tannins and soft hints of vanilla.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler recommend this Vigorello Rosso Toscana IGT for Gruyère burgers, mushroom pizza and ribeye steak. Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 18°C.
Vinification
20-25 days of fermentation on the mash at 30°C, followed by malolactic fermentation and 24 months aging in 225 liters of French barrique, then 8 months aging in the bottle.
