About the wine

The story of Tosca begins in 2000 with the restoration of the first terraces of Ca' Lupo and Bema and the creation of new vineyards that are immediately grown using organic farming methods. Today, there are 9 hectares of vineyards divided into five plots, which are located between 350 and 520 m above sea level. All vineyards are worked by hand. Ecological practices are combined with other techniques to maintain soil fertility naturally. Through careful manual harvesting, only the best grapes with low yields (approx. 50 ql/ha) are selected in order to obtain characteristic wines with a strong personality. Valcalepio Bianco DOC has a very intense fruity scent and good persistence.
