The well-known winery “Dievole” in the Chianti Classico area looks back on over 900 years of history. It is mentioned for the first time on May 22, 1090, when 2 friends of the head of the monastery Abbate Rolando leased the land for grape cultivation and paid 3 loaves of bread, 1 capon and 6 silver coins annually. Today Dievole is one of the most famous producers in the Chianti Classico area. But the winery stands for much more than the exceptional wines it produces. Because for Dievole, the focus is always on the people who make this possible: the workers. Many of them were born in the surrounding area or in the winery itself and feel deeply connected to the land and the wine that matures on it. This bond between man and earth can be tasted in every bottle of Dievole wine thanks to their dedication and passion.
