Tasting note
This Nebbiolo develops a bouquet of great, sophisticated fruitiness, refined by fine vanilla and subtle roasted notes. The aging in grappa barrique gives it a subtle, noble sweetness and an even fuller, harmonious body.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with red meat, game dishes, aged cheese and pizzoccheri.
Vinification
After aging for four years in large chestnut barrels, a further 18 months of aging takes place in selected barriques from the renowned grappa producer Villa de Varda, which give the wine an elegant structure and a subtle, noble sweetness.
