About the wine
For decades, the Rancan family, owners of the vineyards in Tregnago, in the heart of Valpolicella, delivered their grapes to the local winegrowers' cooperative. It was not until 2007 that Renzo Rancan decided to process the grapes himself and founded Cantina Ca' dei Conti, where he was able to hire Fabio Melotto as an oenologist. Even the first vintages showed the exceptional potential of the wines, and the Valpolicella Superiore “La Roara” in particular impressed with its incredible density and structure. This wine can easily be incorporated into an Amarone blind degustation, and it will always be at the forefront!

Tasting note
Dense ruby red Very rich and strong on the nose with notes of wild berries. On the palate, Vescovo Moro is very accessible, fruity, with rich richness, aromas ranging from coffee to black cherries and subtle spicy notes. The tannins are soft and pleasant. Very fine Valpolicella with a wonderful drinking flow.
Culinary recommendation
This wine goes well with hearty meat dishes, game and aged cheese.
