About the wine
The Prelius winery, located on the Maremma plain just 4 km from the sea, takes its name from the ancient Roman name of the nearby coastal lake Prile. Here, Federica Masceroni Stianti from the Castello di Volpaia winemaker family produces elegant, Mediterranean-inspired wines using organic methods with great care and passion on 12 hectares. Thanks to the unique terroir - sandy sedimentary soils just 30 to 50 m above sea level - and the typical microclimate with mild winters and hot summers, the vines ripen perfectly and produce smooth, aromatic and fruity wines. et fruité.
