About the wine

Since the early 15th century, wine has been produced in Rueda's underground cellars. Felix Sanz Revuelta founded his bodega in these cellars in 1934. The name Felix Sanz is closely associated with the small white wine do Rueda. Under the Vina Cimbron label, Sanz has pressed a number of excellent wines from the main Rueda variety, the Verdejo grape. DO Rueda is located in the heart of the Duero. The extreme continental climate is characterized by cold, dry winters, springs with a high risk of frost and short, extremely hot summers. The very sparse rain falls almost exclusively in autumn.
