The Capo di Stato — so named in memory of the visit by French President Charles de Gaulle in Venice — is one of the most prestigious wines in Veneto. By the blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot And Malbec is also one of the most independent plants in this region. For the “Capo di Stato” riserva, the best grapes are selected, preferably from oldest vineyard, which was planted in 1946. A part of Grapes are produced using the Recioto process before pressing dried. The wine is produced for half a year in Barriques aged. On the nose, the Capo di inspires Stato through an intense, fascinating bouquet, rich with notes of red fruits and fine spices. The body is densely built, with noticeable but sweet tannin, flattering and with a never-ending finale.
