Tasting note
Veliko Crno offers the perfect balance of strength and finesse. Aromas of herbs and pepper appear first, followed by blueberry and blackcurrant aromas with warm woody notes. The freshness and minerality of the Nadina terroir round off all components in a perfect balance. The wine aged in French oak for a year. A classic Bordeaux expression of red wine intended for prolonged aging of over ten years.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with dark meats, game, game fowl and steaks.
Vinification
After harvesting, fermentation and careful pressing of the grapes, the young wine ages in barriques for 12 months. This is followed by a further twelve months of bottle aging.
