Vinification
Valtenèsi Chiaretto 'Costellazioni' 2015 DOP is made from a blend of Groppello (50%), Barbera (45%) and Sangiovese (5%). The first sip got me into a holiday mood on the Côte d'Azur... sea, sun, holidays... On the nose you can recognize the scent of freshly picked wild flowers, on the palate you first notice the acidity, then the softness, everything in perfect balance and the finish tastes of red berries... seductive. It is certified as an organic wine and vegan, and the grapes are washed before pressing. Acidity 6.72 g/l.
