About the wine

The name Flammante stands for the hottest location in Valtellina. Intense on the nose, ripe black cherries, blackberries, wild strawberries, dried Mediterranean herbs and a slightly earthy minerality in the background. On the palate, textured, full-bodied, balanced, with notes of ripe berries, again cherries, dried plums, roses, thyme and some tobacco. Goes well with dark meat or mature cheese.
