Tasting note
Ruby red color with copper reflections. The nose smells of flowers, wild berries, red roses, but also of leather and tobacco. Full-bodied with a long, persistent mouthfeel and elegant, vibrant tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler is recommended for game, hearty meat dishes and roasts. Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for red wine is a slightly chilled temperature of 16°-18°C.
Vinification
The Mazzacanà is made from Valpolicella grapes from the Benini vineyards, which are located in the municipalities of Lavagno and Marcellise. The wine ferments in steel tanks for 10 days, is decanted, then peeled and filled into French oak tonneaux. Aging for approx. 6-8 months before bottling.
