About the wine
For decades, the Rancan family, owners of the vineyards in Tregnago, in the heart of Valpolicella, delivered their grapes to the local winegrowers' cooperative. It was not until 2007 that Renzo Rancan decided to process the grapes himself and founded Cantina Ca' dei Conti, where he was able to hire Fabio Melotto as an oenologist. Even the first vintages showed the exceptional potential of the wines, and the Valpolicella Superiore “La Roara” in particular impressed with its incredible density and structure. This wine can easily be incorporated into an Amarone blind degustation, and it will always be at the forefront!

Tasting note
Ruby red color with purple reflections. Intense, warm bouquet with aromas of strawberries, cherries and dried fruits, plus fine notes of vanilla and cocoa. La Roara delights on the palate Rosso Veronese IGP with a great, soft structure and tremendous richness. Once again, very fruity. The aftertaste is very rich and extremely long.
Culinary recommendation
This wine goes well with grilled meat, game dishes and aged cheese.
