Tasting note
This is a wine that promises a lot in the bouquet and delivers even more in the finale! An intense aroma of sweet berries, very ripe, dried fruits (plums), floral notes and subtle aging aromas form a brilliant start on the nose. This Valpolicella Classico Superiore reveals a wealth of seductive, even beguiling aromas, paired with ripe tannins and delicious fruit in the long-lasting finish, where it is completely convincing.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with venison, polenta, roast veal, veal steak, lamb steak, beef steak, brisket, roast pork, pork steak and grilled chicken.
Vinification
Aged for 16 months in both traditional, large oak barrels and barriques, then aged in bottle for a further five months.
