About the wine
With experience and instinct, the winemaker from the Italian winery Recchia masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile countryside of Veneto. With the dominant Corvina 2015 — Valpolicella Classico DOC Superiore Masua di Jago, nuances and accents are redefined. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Corvina is very good to serve with recent types of cheese or roasts.
Tasting note
Color: garnet red, of medium intensity with delicate violet reflections, colortight. Aromatics: Ripe fruity aromas, black berries such as cassis, hints of vegetable notes, of ivy, warm roasted nuances, cocoa and pepper, earthy with an animal touch. Body: Elegant, well-structured palate, sweet-looking, juicy and persistent with present tannins, astringent on the finish, vegetal and toasty. Quality: An uncomplicated everyday wine that is a pleasure to drink.
