About the wine
The Barossa Valley is famous for its winemaking tradition, beginning in the 1840s. In the heart is the Valley Floor, a highly prized strip of first-class winegrowing. The grapes from this wine form and come from 9 100-year-old vines. The soil formation is also broadly diversified. This is partly loamy and sandy, made of weathered granite or the famous Terra Rossa. Valley Floor Shiraz is therefore a perfect reflection of a typical Barossa Shiraz.

Tasting note
Color: dark red with purple reflections Fragrance: A rich aroma of fresh plum, black cherry and mulberry, combined by a delicate note of smoke and flint. Spices, chocolate and spicy notes can be found not only in the scent but also on the palate. Taste: Lots of ripe, plum-like fruit kicks off. Rich and spicy, but remains juicy with youthful, firm tannins. A complex, medium to full-bodied wine with a touch of mocha and vanilla that lasts until the long-lasting, fruity-peppery finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with fried beef, American-style ribs, Sunday roasts.
Vinification
The Shiraz vines come from various individual vineyards in the Barossa and Eden Valleys. Aged for 24 months in American and French oak barrels.
