About the wine
At the beginning of the 1980s, the Garcia family of hoteliers from Burgos acquired the old cooperative in Gumiel de Mercado. The love of wine played an important role in this great commitment. Under the leadership of sisters Carolina and Yolanda, the company has worked its way up to the top of Ribera del Duero. Tinta del Pais (Tempranillo) in particular is planted on 100 ha of vines.

Tasting note
Ripe, concentrated fruit (dried apricots, strawberry jam, quince jelly). Soft, powerful and tight on the palate with a voluminous yet elegant finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with wild and feathered game, beef, lamb and grilled meats. Also suitable for risotto, chestnuts from the fire or semi-hard cheese.
