About the wine
With this present Tempranillo 2014 — Valdegines Rioja DOCa, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Fertile and picturesque landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas y Viñedos Artadi conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
With 4.1 hectares, the single Valdeginé vineyard is the largest location of Artadi wines in Rioja and is located at an altitude of around 600 meters in the town of Laguardia. The plot was planted with Tempranillo vines in 1989 and 1992 and benefits from the morning sun due to its east-facing location. The Valdeginés impresses with its fruity, exotic notes and the palate is surrounded by fine, velvety tannins and a subtle minerality. A delicate, elegant wine!
