About the wine
The flagship, the V47 bottling, is dedicated to the oldest multi-generational vineyards. Only 5,000 bottles were produced from the over 47-year-old vineyards planted using the chalice or “vase” method. Very low yields ensure the depth of this wine. The V47 is made under the new “Alicante Singular” classification, which was recently introduced by the supervisory authority to identify very special wines produced under a strict combination of DO requirements.

Tasting note
Nice fruitiness with a youthful cherry red color. Lively aromas of mixed dark berries balance the strong tannins through the fresh, smooth finish.
Vinification
Carefully harvested by hand and fermented in small, open vats. The organic acid mining takes place in new French oak barrels of the highest quality, in which the wine ages for 20 months. After bottling, the V47 matures in the bottle until it is released.
