Tasting note
La Claudina comes from a small plot of land (Lieux-dit, as it is called in France) within the Valtuille de Abajo individual vineyard. This vineyard is known for its deep, sandy soils and pronounced drought. This results in a very fine, delicate wine that looks straight like an arrow and shows hints of pear and apple. Although the typical sherry notes are not noticeable, the wine matured under a thin layer of pile, which is expressed in hints of wet rock and salty minerality. Very complex and with a long aftertaste.
Vinification
Aging for several months in used foudres and barriques.
